Valorant is Coming to Consoles: Here’s the Release Date
Developed and published by Riot Games, the competitive 5v5 shooter team game Valorant is preparing to make its debut on current-generation consoles. Previously available exclusively on the PC platform, Valorant is now expected to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, according to the latest announcements.
This tactical first-person shooter, which is free-to-play on PC, will also be available for free on consoles. The limited free release for consoles is set to begin on June 14th. Initially launched on June 2, 2020, for PC, the game is also expected to have a mobile version in the future.
Valorant Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series
In Valorant, you can control different agents and engage in both competitive and casual modes. The game allows you to hone your skills using a keyboard and mouse. You can improve your aim and eliminate opponents in exciting modes like Deathmatch and Spike Rush. Additionally, the game offers a variety of weapons to use.
Valorant’s classic competitive mode consists of a series of 13 rounds, where you advance through ranks with bomb planting mechanics. This mode features an innovative version of the system seen in classic Counter-Strike games. The game’s different maps and intriguing character abilities allow you to adapt to your team’s needs.
Valorant supports voice communication, enabling you to stay in touch with other players worldwide as you fight in diverse settings and choose different agents for each match. Mastering the game on consoles will require considerable practice and dedication.
